Energy Guides

In collaboration with Skive Commerce and Tourist Center, EcoCity Skive trained a corps energy guides.

The guides show Skive Municipality's energy initiatives forward, such as. 

• Denmark's largest solar power - Skivehus School
• 32 solar energy - primary school and institutions
• CO2 neutral city hall with an energy equivalent to a detached house
• The country's largest solar power station (photo disc)
• Biogas New Rybjerggård - AE
• Gasification - Skive District Heating
• Climate and Energy Strategy being developed
• Energy Foundation washer under construction
• Plans for utilization of geothermal energy
• Durup as CO2-neutral village in 2015
• Salling is self-sufficient in wind energy.

Energy Guides are part of the Skive Guides. Skive Guides is an association of tourist guides and energy guides in Skive, which aims to convey Skive amenity for both residents and visitors in the area. The Guide Association has 13 members.
