Energy Safari
The first Energy Safari was conducted in spring
2011. An assorted
group of officials from several EU
countries first visited island and later Skive. Here they inspect the solar power plant
in Skive City
Hall.
The
program focused on renewable energy
and environment stories
- told in a
different way. Guests got insight into the Danish
experience but they were also
challenged, engaged and inspired
during the trip.
The visit was
tailored to the
specific needs of the group had.
This is an example
of a trip
that Samsø and
Skive municipality cooperate to promote Danish export
environment and
climate experience. Both sites are leading in Denmark for renewable energy
and sustainability, and now want together to actively market the
Danish experience and a
coherent experience for global environmental
and climate issues.
