Electric vehicle
Friday
1 July rolled the first nine municipal electric cars
into the city of
Skive, which is a rarity, the small electric truck. The cars could be seen at Post Office Square, between
the hours. 14 and 15 and became a green spot on the show Green Technology Tour 2011
in Skive.
Skive has for 30 years working
on energy conservation and utilization of
alternative energy forms. Now is the time for transport. Excess flow from the many
solar cells can be the appropriate ensure that Skive municipality employees
getting around town. It is not just cheap, it also saves on the consumption
of fossil fuels
and reduce CO2 emissions.
Initially, five
domestic helpers from
the Elderly Services use the cars
in Skive, other employees in the
IT, technical
management and
maintenance will use the vehicles for passenger
transport. Many other
cities in Denmark
are using electric cars, but
a new outlook in
Slice will be
the little truck
that Park &
Road takes
in use in the inner city.
The cars are
brand Mitsubishi
iMiEV electric
